The Medic Appreciation Contest T&Cs
From time to time, Medixus runs contests/competitions, giveaways and promotions. Please read the below terms and conditions prior to participating in the Medic Appreciation Contest.
By entering the Medic Appreciation Contest run by Medixus, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below, even if you have not read them.
The promoter is Medixus Software Ltd, a company registered and incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Kenya.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

The contest is exclusive to healthcare professionals signed up on the Medixus platform.
The opening and closing dates for the contest are announced together. After the closing date, no further entry of cases and comments will be considered. Please refer to the contest rules for more details.
No responsibility will be accepted for entry of cases and comments not received for whatever reason.

Medixus reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest, and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the company’s control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to the participants as soon as possible by the company.
Medixus is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this contest.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered and the prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen based on the level of engagement of the cases posted i.e. the total number of cases and comments on each case posted on the Medixus platform. No case posted outside the platform will be considered.
The winners will be notified via email and phone call (when available) within 24 hours of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prizes from the winners and pick a replacement winner.
Medixus will notify the winners when and where the prize can be collected, or deliver the prizes to the address provided by the winners, whichever may be applicable.
The company’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this contest, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by the Kenyan and English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan and English courts.
The winners agree to the use of their names and images in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other participants will be used solely in accordance with the EU data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party without the participant’s prior consent.
Participation in the contest will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Information provided to Medixus will be in conjunction with the company’s Privacy Policy.
